In 2016 we returned to East Africa and set out to create, ride, and document bikepacking route around this small equatorial country. In the end this 1,312 mile epic loop delivered an unforgettable experience and passed through many of the sights and landscapes that makes Uganda ‘The Pearl of Africa’. The Trans-Uganda resulted a 3 part feature series on BIKEPACKING.com, a route, several gear reviews, and a feature article in Expedition Portal.
